Northfire Recording is the home of "Northfire Recording studio." which includes the qualified duo of "Ciela and brother "Jah Kettle the two shared the same interests which brought them to the same institution to acquire the skills needed for a stable career in Music production. While in school the two decided to make an attempt at getting reggae/ dancehall music to the international standard it should be at. The Production company was formed BMG. Celia (Producer/Engineer) fell in love with drums at the age of 14, he began building drum patterns on tables then applying it to the drum kit then as years when on at the age of 16 he began playing the drums at live concerts and appearing as a back up drummer for bands (Live Wyah) and as a recording drummer in a studio.

While being around the studio environment Ciela learned how to apply his drumming techniques into a drum machine arranging drum patterns with different instruments. At the age of 17 he finished high school (Calabar), where he then went to The Music Learning Institute where he study Audio Engineering Technologies. During his time at Music Learning Institute he met Producer/Engineer " Jam 2” this was how Northfire recording was born.

Because I was also living in St. Catherine northern and the fire basically comes from a Capleton idea, now by the help of the almighty we develop and build our own studio so we now can do our own riddim buildings and mixing of our own productions instead of the long nights we used to spend at anchor.
